Cherry Creek State Park
Cherry State Park and Reservoir is an urban treasure, and it is located less than five minutes away from Heather Gardens. The park is one major amenity that makes our active adult community the most active and attractive of them all.

The park offers miles of pedestrian and bicycling trails, including hiking. trails through a large nature preserve. There is also an off-leash dog park, fishing and boating, horseback riding, beach and picnic areas and much more. The park also offers a variety of opportunities to serve as a volunteer.

Entrance to the park on foot or bicycle is free. For vehicles, the fee is $9 per day. The annual pass is $73, or $63 if you are 64+.
